We were showing off our parenting at church today via splotches of food on our shirts and other less savory things on our pants/skirts. Yeah, it was that kind of day. I think we need to burn some of our clothes and start again. Eliza had a leak during sacrament and Sarah took the brunt of that. She also thought it would be fun to smear crackers all over us. We love her.
We’ve had a pretty good week. We got to go to the temple on Saturday. Our friends the Larsen’s watched Eliza and we took James with us. He was fussy in the car while we took turns inside the temple. I got to take him out and walk around the temple a few times and sing to him until he fell asleep.
On Monday for FHE we talked about Daniel in the lion’s den. Eliza is a bit confused about that story because her little lion is named Daniel. She got to color a picture and we talked about prayer. We’re trying to be more inventive on what we do for FHE so that she’ll actually be able to learn.
James is turning on the charms more and more and is such a happy boy. He loves Eliza and just stares at her when she’s in the room. I think they’re going to be great friends.
In scouts this week we made swords for our annual medieval camp-out. The boys really like this activity and I’m looking forward to that camp in March.
I’m kind of tired so I’m going to head to bed. Sorry this is a shorter email than normal but I hope you enjoy the pictures.
